One country, millions of individuals, infinite possibilities. Unfortunately, however, not everyone has the opportunity to unleash their potential. This is what drives us. As a committed team, we at the DFL Foundation want to CREATE OPPORTUNITIES and work alongside strong partners towards building a bright future.
The basis of our success is a dedicated and highly qualified team of 15 people who love tackling new challenges and projects with creativity and drive. And thanks to the DFL Foundation’s two-strong Executive Board and our Foundation Board, we are also extremely well-positioned from a strategic perspective. Our diverse Board of Trustees and our two ambassadors are on hand in an advisory capacity.
The DFL Foundation was founded in November 2008 by DFL Deutsche Fußball Liga e.V. and DFL Deutsche Fußball Liga GmbH with the aim of ensuring that professional football engages even more strongly with the social responsibility it bears. The benefactors provide regular funds to support the DFL Foundation in its mission.
